In this project, space and time converge to explore how societies become repositories of past and present stories. Inspired by Heidegger, who affirmed that “human beings dwell in time, and time dwells within human beings,” these sculptures use voids and geometries to evoke a sense of timelessness.
The fragmented forms invite the viewer to reflect on the coexistence of past, present, and future in urban environments. Walter Benjamin describes cities as intersections of collective memory, and this project leverages this idea to create pieces that capture the essence of the tensions and energies within inhabited spaces.
