Identification with space and emptiness

This photography project explores the relationship between human identity and spaces or voids, drawing from philosophical and symbolic reflections. Inspired by the connection between empty space and transformation, the work employs abstract geometric forms derived from my sculptures, as well as settings of anachronistic spaces and voids.
The series focuses on how the void does not signify absence but rather a space filled with energy and potential, as much as matter or the structures to which people cling or identify themselves. This applies to certain places, whether in emptiness or in matter. Through geometric patterns, the photographs invite a spiritual exploration of identity, transcending superficiality.
Presented in black and white, the images highlight a dialogue between light and materials, emphasizing the connection between the intangible and the tangible. These works aim to reflect how the void acts as a space of transformation and hope, while identity is redefined within a given space or void.
