Cycles: everything flows, nothing stands still
Series of sculptures
Iron
Year 2023
Maximum series dimensions: 60 x 40 x 45 cm
Inspired by the philosophy of Heraclitus, this series of iron sculptures from 2023 explores the fluidity and transformation inherent to humans and their surroundings. The pieces, composed of lines that intertwine in abstract forms, reflect the dynamism of change and the impossibility of repeating the exact same moment, much like a flowing river.
Iron, a rigid and resistant material, contrasts with the flexibility of the organic shapes, creating a dialogue between permanence and ephemerality. The series invites reflection on how we adapt to circumstances, embracing change as not only inevitable but also essential for our evolution.
These sculptures, in their geometric simplicity, evoke a balance between structure and emptiness, movement and stillness, serving as a testament to the human ability to reinvent and adapt in a constantly transforming world.
